Khankandi: Nearly 3,000 jobs are set to be created in Khankandi city, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts by the end of the year, focusing on both processing enterprises and agriculture. Elchin Yusubov, the special representative of the President in these areas, highlighted these developments, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, about 450 activity contracts have already been signed with construction companies across the three districts. This initiative has resulted in the creation of approximately 2,000 jobs so far. The private sector has invested around 45 million AZN into the region, with further plans to open nearly 3,000 additional jobs by the end of 2025. The expansion includes new marble production facilities and stone cutting workshops, which are expected to boost the local economy significantly.

Yusubov emphasized the importance of agriculture in the region, with the development of the area’s arable and productive lands poised to positively impact agricultural growth. He encouraged farmers to actively participate and invest, noting that the state offers appropriate benefits to support their endeavors. There are also plans to expand these benefits in the future to further incentivize agricultural investment.
