Baku: Nearly 5 million voters in Azerbaijan are under the age of 60, as stated by the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), Mazahir Panahov, during a recent CEC meeting.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Panahov highlighted this demographic detail, noting that it stands in contrast to trends in many other countries where the voter base tends to be older. He expressed that while the declining number of newborns is a concern, the current voter demographic reflects a predominantly younger electorate.
