New Ambulance Substation Opens in Ak-Orgo, Bishkek

Bishkek: A new ambulance substation has been inaugurated in the Ak-Orgo residential area of Bishkek, enhancing emergency medical services in the region. This development is part of ongoing efforts to improve healthcare accessibility in the city.

According to 24.kg News Agency, head of the Emergency Medicine Center of Bishkek, who spoke to the 24.kg news agency, the substation will be staffed by four ambulance teams, including two teams of doctors and two paramedics, operating round the clock. The substation is set to serve the southwestern residential areas of Bishkek, with four Toyota Hiace ambulances equipped with modern medical equipment provided by the Ministry of Health. This initiative, funded by the Qatar Charity Foundation and co-financed by Bishkek City Hall, aims to bring medical services closer to the population, especially in areas bordering the Sokuluk district.
