Baku: Today, the Baku office of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in Azerbaijan was officially inaugurated, APA reports. The LDS Church has now been officially registered in Azerbaijan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the delegation attending the office opening included David Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Jack Gerard, a member of the Quorum of the Seventy and First Counselor of the Europe Central Area Office, was also present. Miles Hansen, President and Board Director for the Stirling Foundation, and Paul Picard, a member of the Europe Central and Eurasian Quorum of the Seventy, were part of the delegation as well.
