Baku:A 33.8-km road is being developed from the 9th kilometer of the Sugovushan-Kalbajar highway towards Aghdara and Aghdam. This project is being constructed according to technical categories I, II, and III.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads has reported that the project includes the construction of four bridges and 56 culverts. Currently, 76 vehicles and pieces of machinery are in operation, with a workforce of 75 people on site.
The completion of this road is expected to establish a unified route from Aghdam towards Aghdara and Kalbajar, enhancing transport links in Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur. This development is part of the efforts to create new connections as part of the Great Return initiative.
