New State Fees Established for Seed Production Sector

Baku: New state fees have been established for the registration of seed operators engaged in seed production activities and for the issuance of certificates confirming the varietal identity and sowing quality of seeds. This development was reported by APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the changes are part of an amendment to the Law "On State Duty," which was enacted following a Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev. The amendment outlines specific fees: a state fee of 50 manats for issuing an extract from the information system of the authority designated by the relevant executive authority in the field of plant breeding and seed production, 10 manats for issuing a duplicate of the extract, and 25 manats for issuing a certificate (per document) confirming the varietal identity and sowing quality of seeds.
