Shamakhi:A newly constructed nursery-kindergarten was inaugurated in Goylar village of Shamakhi district. The opening ceremony took place on October 26, with Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Alena Aliyeva in attendance.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the nursery-kindergarten was initiated by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation in 2025 and is fully equipped with necessary furniture, equipment, and visual aids. The outdoor area includes gazebos and a children's playground.

The facility can accommodate 160 children and features separate bedrooms for boys and girls, group rooms, music and gymnastics halls, a kitchen, a canteen, medical rooms, and administrative and technical facilities. The grounds have been landscaped with green areas, decorative trees and shrubs, and modern lighting systems.

Aygun Mikayilova, head of the preschool facility, noted that the previous kindergarten in the village, which had a capacity of 55 children, had become dilapidated and unusable. The new facility was constructed to address this issue. It caters to three age groups 2-3, 3-4, and 4-5, and employs 17 staff members, including 12 technical staff and five teaching staff.
