NGIC Highlights Global Baku Forum’s Role in International Dialogue

Baku: Nearly 4,000 participants have joined the Global Baku Forum since its inception, according to Rza Aliyev, Chief Strategy and Sustainability Officer of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC). The Forum has become a pivotal platform for Azerbaijan and the broader regions of the South Caucasus, Central Asia, and the Middle East, drawing significant political figures globally over the past 13 years.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Aliyev noted that the Global Baku Forum, held annually under the patronage of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, serves as a crucial conduit for political messaging to the global community. The NGIC organizes this event to gather heads of state, government officials, foreign ministers, Nobel laureates, and notable politicians.

Aliyev highlighted that the NGIC's influence extends beyond a single annual event. The Center conducts activities year-round in various global regions and major international venues, including the UN offices in Geneva and New York, the European Union, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Significant expansion of the Center's international presence is reflected in events organized at the Munich Security Conference in 2025 and 2026.
