Nizami Ganjavi International Center and UNESCO Discuss Cooperation

Paris: Rovshan Muradov, Secretary-General of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center (NGIC), met with Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in Paris, France. The meeting aimed to explore avenues for collaboration between the two organizations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions were centered around enhancing cooperation and promoting a culture of peace amid global challenges. Both parties discussed potential partnerships in youth programs and the active involvement of NGIC members in UNESCO activities. Additionally, they explored ways to advance UNESCO's mission globally.

The meeting also included discussions on the participation of the UNESCO Director-General in the 13th Global Baku Forum, which is scheduled to take place in March 2026. This participation is seen as a significant step towards further strengthening the ties between NGIC and UNESCO.
