Nora Lombardini Emphasizes Integration of Labor Market Changes in Building Renovation

Baku: 'Labor market transformations must also be factored into building renovation and replacement processes. In this regard, strengthening human knowledge and skills is of critical importance,' said Nora Lombardini, Deputy Dean of the School of Design and Architecture at ADA University and Associate Professor at the dABC Department of Politecnico di Milano. She made these remarks during a session on 'Housing and Education: The Role of the Dwelling in Architectural Curricula,' which took place at the Azerbaijan Pavilion within WUF13.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Lombardini also focused on the reconstruction and recovery process, underscoring the crucial importance of the state's role and support in these areas. Her comments highlight the necessity of aligning building practices with current labor market dynamics, emphasizing the development of human knowledge and skills as vital components in the architectural field.
