Yekaterinburg: Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg issued a verdict on June 27 regarding Kamal Safarov, who was detained as a result of a particularly brutal operation by Russian law enforcement agencies, APA’s Russian bureau reports. The court issued an arrest warrant for K. Safarov based on the prosecution’s complaint.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Safarov was charged under Article 105.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. This development has brought the total number of Azerbaijanis arrested in Yekaterinburg to seven. The arrests have drawn attention to the operations conducted by Russian authorities in the region.
