Baku: The number of Israeli tourists visiting Azerbaijan has seen a significant increase, doubling in the first 11 months of 2025. Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister, Jeyhun Bayramov, announced during a briefing with his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Sa'ar, that there are currently 20 flights per week between the two countries, with plans to increase this number.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting between the foreign ministers also covered discussions on international and regional security issues. Bayramov highlighted that they exchanged views on the ceasefire in the Middle East and the situation in Gaza. He emphasized Azerbaijan's support for the establishment of peace and a negotiated settlement in the region.
