Baku: A solemn oath-taking ceremony was held for newly enrolled cadets at the Heydar Aliyev Military Institute under the National Defense University, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to APA. The event was attended by the leadership of the National Defense University and the institute, alongside military personnel and members of the academic and teaching staff. Accompanied by the military band, the Battle Flag was brought to the parade ground.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony commenced with a one-minute silence to honor the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the Motherland. This was followed by the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Speakers at the event extended congratulations to the cadets on taking the Military Oath and wished them success in their future military service. They encouraged the cadets to be worthy representatives of the Azerbaijani nation and emphasized the importance of maintaining a high standard of discipline and adhering to military regulations throughout their service.

Representatives speaking on behalf of the cadets expressed satisfaction with the conditions provided for their education and training, wishing the newly admitted cadets success in their studies.

The ceremony concluded with the cadets taking an oath of allegiance to the Motherland, marking the beginning of their commitment to serve the nation.
