Obligations of SAMHI Transferred to TABIB for Medical Supplies

Baku: The rights and obligations of the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance (SAMHI) concerning the provision of medicines and medical supplies to insured individuals have been transferred to the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB). This change was officially enacted through an order signed by President Ilham Aliyev.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the responsibility shift aims to streamline the distribution and management of medical supplies, ensuring that insured persons receive the necessary products efficiently. This decision reflects a strategic move to consolidate healthcare management functions under TABIB, potentially improving operational effectiveness within the country's healthcare system.
