New york: Representatives from Azerbaijan's civil society are attending the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70) in New York, where discussions focused on gender equality, women's rights, access to justice, and broader information access.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the session's conference, Gunay Hasanova, Board Member of 'Sonmaz Mashal' Cultural Relations Public Union and a digital content creator, addressed the general discussions. She highlighted how Azerbaijan's creative young women impact society through literature and the arts. Hasanova urged UN agencies, governments, and partners to promote creative education and legal literacy, and to support civil society organizations that link culture with law.

The UN CSW conference is a major international forum for global debates on women's rights and gender equality.
