Baku:Ogtay Ismat Gozalov has been appointed as the new director of the Republican Emergency and Urgent Medical Care Center.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, Ogtay Gozalov has held various leadership and expert roles at the World Health Organization (WHO) since 2008. His experience includes work at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, and he has contributed to efforts in the European, Middle Eastern, and Western Pacific regions, including Denmark and Uzbekistan.

In recent years, Gozalov served as a team leader at the WHO Country Office in Ukraine.
