Baku: On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), extended his heartfelt congratulations to the President and the people of Azerbaijan. He expressed prayers for the health and well-being of the Azeri President and wished for further progress and prosperity for the nation.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the OIC values its strong ties with Azerbaijan and commends the country's support in promoting joint Islamic action, a core objective for which the OIC was established. The organization affirmed its commitment to continue serving its Member States, promoting common values, and strengthening mutual cooperation.

The Secretary General expressed his anticipation for Azerbaijan's continued support in enhancing solidarity among the peoples of OIC member states and in exploring new opportunities for joint Islamic action. He concluded by extending his highest consideration and regards to the President of Azerbaijan.
