Azerbaijan and Ukraine Discuss Energy Cooperation at Baku Meeting

Baku: Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov recently held a meeting with Denys Shmyhal, the First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Energy of Ukraine. The discussions took place on June 2, focusing on various aspects of bilateral relations between the two nations.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting highlighted the significance of Baku Energy Week, positioning Baku as a pivotal hub for global energy dialogue. The event serves as an essential platform for fostering international cooperation in energy security, green transition, and sustainable development.

Both parties reviewed the current state and future prospects of Azerbaijan-Ukraine bilateral cooperation. They explored opportunities for enhancing collaboration across economic, trade, energy, and humanitarian sectors, as well as other mutually beneficial areas.

The meeting also emphasized Azerbaijan's humanitarian assistance to Ukraine. The Ukrainian delegation expressed appreciation for the aid provided by Azerbaijan, particularly in restoring civilian infrastructure and supporting the Ukrainian people.
