Baku:The official opening ceremony of the Olive Festival took place at the Baku Seaside Boulevard on October 24. The event was attended by notable figures including Anar Alakbarov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Fuad Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, and Khanlar Aghalarov, Chairman of the Board of the Seaside Boulevard Administration. These officials explored the various pavilions set up for the festival.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the festival will continue until October 25, offering a platform for visitors to experience a variety of olives and olive oil products. Attendees have the chance to discover different brands and explore new flavors.

The primary aim of the Olive Festival is to celebrate Azerbaijan's rich olive-growing heritage, support local producers, and aid in the development of a national brand in the olive industry. The event is organized with backing from the State Tourism Agency and the Seaside Boulevard Administration, and is sponsored by 'Absheron Olive Gardens' and 'Olivea' olive products.
