Baku:The official opening ceremony of the Olive Festival took place at the Baku Seaside Boulevard on October 24. The event marked the beginning of a celebration dedicated to olives and olive oil products.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the festival was attended by notable figures including Anar Alakbarov, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan, Fuad Naghiyev, Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, and Khanlar Aghalarov, Chairman of the Board of the Seaside Boulevard Administration. They explored the various pavilions showcasing different brands and flavors.

The festival aims to run until October 25, offering visitors the chance to learn about Azerbaijan's ancient olive-growing traditions. It seeks to promote local producers and aid in the development of a national brand in the olive sector.

Organized with the support of the State Tourism Agency and the Seaside Boulevard Administration, the festival is sponsored by 'Absheron Olive Gardens' and 'Olivea' olive products, highlighting the collaborative efforts to boost the olive industry in Azerbaijan.
