TORONTO: Andrea Hazell, a member of the Ontario Liberal Party and recently elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, visited the ‘Azerbaijan House’ in Canada, engaging with the local Azerbaijani community and sharing her journey to political office.
According to Trend News Agency, Hazell, who represents the Scarborough-Guildwood district of Toronto, met with both youth and newly arrived community members during her visit. She expressed her satisfaction with the event and emphasized that her success story serves as a positive example for youth development.
During the meeting, Lalin Hasanova, the head of ‘Azerbaijan House,’ provided an overview of the organization’s activities, highlighting projects that promote the ancient history and rich cultural heritage of the Azerbaijani people. Hasanova also mentioned that the House runs a weekend school focused on these themes.
