Baku: On June 3-5, 2025, Baku Energy Week will mark its 30th anniversary as the region’s most significant energy event. The central event of Baku Energy Week will be the ‘Baku Energy Forum,’ scheduled for June 4-5. The forum annually convenes key participants from the energy sector, including leading international experts, investors, and business representatives.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Secretary-General of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Haytham Al-Ghais, has extended a greeting letter to the attendees of the 2025 ‘Baku Energy Forum.’ In his message, he underscores the forum’s importance as a platform for dialogue and cooperation within the global energy sector.
“Azerbaijan, as a key participant in the Declaration of Cooperation (DoC) between OPEC and non-OPEC producers, has become a global center for constructive dialogue on key energy issues. This was clearly evident at COP29, and it will undoubtedly be highlighted again at the 30th Baku Energy Forum, which holds a significant place in the region’s energy calendar,” Al-Ghais stated in his letter.
OPEC Secretary-General Haytham Al-Ghais participated in the opening of Baku Energy Week in 2024 and has once again extended his greetings for the upcoming forum.
