Shusha: The official opening ceremony of the Vagif Poetry Days, an event jointly organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the Ministry of Culture, took place in Shusha today. The event, aimed at celebrating cultural connections, was held in front of the Molla Panah Vagif Museum-Mausoleum Complex, attracting attendees from various regions.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev addressed the gathering, emphasizing that the Vagif Poetry Days play a vital role in strengthening cultural ties among Turkic states. This cultural exchange is seen as a significant step towards fostering unity and understanding among these nations.
The ceremony also featured the presentation of awards to the winners of the Young Poets Festival of the Turkic World. This recognition highlights the emerging talents and contributions of young poets in the region, further promoting the richness of Turkic literature.
An integral part of the program was a composition titled "Hunter of the Word - My Heart Passes Through Karabakh," which was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the birth of People's Poet Samad Vurgun. The audience warmly received a stage composition based on the drama "Vagif," adding a theatrical dimension to the event and enriching the overall cultural experience.
