Over 110,000 Local Observers to Monitor Upcoming Snap Parliamentary Elections in Azerbaijan


More than 110,000 local observers have registered to monitor the snap parliamentary elections set for September 1 in Azerbaijan, ensuring comprehensive coverage and transparency, as reported by APA.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, CEC Chairman Mazahir Panahov emphasized the significance of media and observer presence, particularly highlighting the importance of coverage in the Garabagh region. “This will be the first time parliamentary elections are held across all of Azerbaijan’s sovereign territory,” Panahov noted during a press briefing. He urged journalists and observers to pay special attention to Garabagh, a region of particular significance, to convey the election processes to the global community effectively.
