Over 16,000 Homes Provided to Martyr Families and War-Disabled Veterans in Azerbaijan

Baku: Over 16,000 homes have been provided to martyr families and war-disabled veterans, as reported by the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Hidayat Abdullayev, in an interview with AZERTAC's regional correspondent. The initiative is part of extensive measures taken under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev to enhance the social protection of these groups.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the housing program aims to improve living conditions for martyr families, war participants, and individuals with war-related disabilities. Recently, 68 homes were handed over to their new owners at a ceremony in Nakhchivan. In addition to housing, the program offers various social support measures, including high-tech prostheses, vehicles, and access to rehabilitation services.

The Deputy Minister highlighted that more than 7,300 citizens have been provided with vehicles under the program. He emphasized the commitment to continue implementing these programs comprehensively and on a broad scale.
