Tashkent: Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are strengthening their collaboration in the field of pediatrics, Bakhtiyorjon Umarov, Director of Uzbekistan's National Children's Medical Center, told AZERTAC.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, cooperation between medical institutions of the two countries has strengthened following President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev's visit to Azerbaijan. The Center's director also added that the relationship between the peoples of the two countries is rooted not only in modern friendly ties, but also on shared historical and cultural roots.
