Tbilisi: Last year, money transfers from Azerbaijan to Georgia amounted to 40.2 million US dollars.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this figure was reported by the National Bank of Georgia. The volume of transfers saw a decrease of 3.53 million US dollars, or 8.07%, compared to the previous year.

During the same period, 65.92 million US dollars were transferred from Georgia to Azerbaijan. This represents a significant increase of 36.4% compared to the figures recorded in 2024.

The largest amount of money transferred from Azerbaijan to Georgia was recorded in April, totaling 3.98 million US dollars. Conversely, the highest transfers from Georgia to Azerbaijan occurred in October, amounting to 6.95 million US dollars.
