Baku: Pakistan has expressed its gratitude to Azerbaijan for its unwavering support. ‘In the month of May this year, Pakistan responded to India’s provocations. This became a source of pride not only for Pakistanis but also for Azerbaijanis,’ Pakistan’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Qasim Mohiuddin, stated during a speech at an event commemorating the 78th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Mohiuddin extended his thanks to Azerbaijan for the firm support it has shown towards Pakistan. He highlighted Azerbaijan’s successful liberation of Karabakh and mentioned that Pakistan will continue its efforts for the liberation of Jammu and Kashmir. He concluded his speech with a statement of solidarity, ‘Long live the brotherhood of Pakistan and Azerbaijan.’
