Baku: The 78th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence was celebrated at the Embassy of Pakistan in Azerbaijan. The event was attended by the Ambassador of Pakistan, representatives of the Pakistani community in Azerbaijan, and other individuals.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the celebration began with the hoisting of the national flag of Pakistan, followed by the recitation of the Holy Quran. During the event, the importance of this day for Pakistan was emphasized, and prayers were offered for peace and tranquility.

Pakistan’s Ambassador Qasim Mohiuddin delivered a speech at the event. He expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its support in the conflict with India and voiced his hope for the continued brotherhood between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
