Baku: Azerbaijan plays a significant role globally in urban planning, as highlighted by a Pakistani participant during the 13th session of the UN World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku. Ihsan Ul Haq, a delegate at the event, praised the organization and management of the forum, noting the helpfulness of volunteers and other staff members.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ihsan Ul Haq emphasized the importance of WUF13 in educating countries about urban planning and sustainable development. He pointed out that Azerbaijan has been a key player in hosting international events, such as COP29, and continues to have a significant global impact in urban planning, climate change, cultural heritage, and culture.
