ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister of Pakistan, Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, is set to attend COP29, as announced by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Qasim Mohiuddin.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Mohiuddin confirmed that the Prime Minister will travel to Azerbaijan to participate in the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP29). This international conference aims to address global environmental challenges and climate change issues, bringing together leaders and representatives from countries worldwide. Prime Minister Sharif’s participation underscores Pakistan’s commitment to global environmental initiatives and collaboration on climate action strategies.
