Baku: Pakistan is striving to ensure peace in the region, ambassador says. 'The Defense Pact inked between Saudi Arabia, Trkiye, and Pakistan once again demonstrates Pakistan's crucial role in ensuring security and stability in the South Asia,' Qasim Mohiuddin, Pakistani Ambassador to Azerbaijan, told journalists during the event marking the National Day of Pakistan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the diplomat also highlighted his country's mediation efforts amid the ongoing regional tensions. He emphasized that the pact is of great significance in enhancing security and stability in the region.
