Khankendi: Participants of the International Scientific-Practical Conference dedicated to prominent Azerbaijani thinker and scholar Sheikh Sayyid Yahya Bakuvi Shirvani visited the city of Khankendi on September 16, as part of their tour to Azerbaijan's Garabagh region. The visit was marked by a series of informative and reflective engagements for the attendees.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the visitors were welcomed at the Khankendi Victory Square where they received a briefing on the ongoing reconstruction efforts in the city. These efforts are part of a broader initiative to restore the region following recent conflicts and to preserve its historical and cultural significance.

The conference participants then toured the city's Victory Park. The park is a symbol of the fighting spirit and heroism displayed by the Azerbaijani people in their quest to restore historical justice and ensure territorial integrity. It also commemorates the victory achieved during the 44-day Patriotic War, highlighting the resilience and determination of the nation.

After completing the familiarization tour in Khankendi, the delegates continued their journey to the city of Shusha, another significant location in the Garabagh region.
