Parviz Shahbazov Highlights Azerbaijan’s Role in Global Energy Security

Baku: Azerbaijan contributes to the energy security of both today and the future, Azerbaijan's Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov stated during the ministerial-level plenary session held within the framework of the 31st Baku Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports. "Although the availability of energy resources is important for ensuring energy security, this alone is not sufficient," the minister noted.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Shahbazov emphasized that reliability, long-term commitments, and resilience are the key factors for energy security. He highlighted the need for energy policies that are balanced, pragmatic, and future-oriented, noting the significance of diversifying energy sources, routes, and technologies, especially in light of recent energy crises.

The minister further elaborated that Azerbaijan, as a reliable and predictable energy supplier, actively collaborates with its partners to enhance energy security for both the present and future. This approach, he explained, underscores the country's commitment to building a robust energy infrastructure that can withstand various challenges and changes in the global energy landscape.
