Pashinyan: Armenia May Cooperate with Azerbaijan on Electricity Exports and Imports

Armenia: Armenia may cooperate with Azerbaijan in the energy sector, including in the export and import of electricity, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a briefing.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijani specialists visited Armenia in September 2025 and January 2026. During these meetings, discussions were held regarding electricity lines, railways, pipelines, and other infrastructure issues.

Pashinyan noted that a partnership between the two countries is possible, which would include the mutual export and import of electricity.
