Yerevan: Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed confidence that the roads with Azerbaijan will be fully opened, emphasizing the importance of this development at a joint briefing in Yerevan with President of the European Council Antonio Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen following the Armenia-EU summit.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Pashinyan highlighted the significance of fully opening roads with Azerbaijan and borders with Turkey for the free movement of people and goods, as well as the enhancement of trade. He mentioned that cooperation agreements in relevant areas will be necessary to achieve this goal.
The Prime Minister noted that Armenia and Azerbaijan are currently cooperating in the field of transport without any separate agreement, underscoring the critical need for fully opening the roads and borders. He reiterated his certainty that these actions will come to fruition.
