Baku: 'The celebration of Africa Day with the Government of Azerbaijan reflects the growing development of Africa-Azerbaijan diplomatic relations,' stated Adonia Ayebare, Permanent Representative of Uganda to the United Nations. Ayebare made these remarks while speaking online at a panel discussion titled 'Africa-Azerbaijan Relations: Current Dynamics and Strategic Potential' during an international conference in Baku marking Africa Day.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ayebare highlighted that Azerbaijan has successfully elevated South-South cooperation to a higher level. This enhanced engagement framework with Africa is contributing significantly to strengthening bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and African nations.
