Baku: A wanted individual in Trkiye was successfully detained in Baku and extradited to Trkiye, APA reports citing the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs. This development marks a significant achievement in the collaborative efforts of the Turkish and Azerbaijani police forces.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the individual identified as -.A.K. was apprehended following a joint operation between the two nations' law enforcement agencies. The individual was accused of serious criminal activities, including opening fire on businesses and extorting money from businessmen under threat.

-.A.K. had been sought for two separate incidents and faced charges of intentional homicide, drug possession, and illegal firearms possession. Upon confirmation of his location in Baku, the authorities swiftly moved to detain him and facilitate his return to Trkiye.

The Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani Police for their effective cooperation in this case, highlighting the importance of international police collaboration in tackling cross-border crime.
