Peskov on Vance’s Visit: Baku and Yerevan Are Free to Build Relations with Washington

Moscow: 'Azerbaijan and Armenia are sovereign states. They have sovereign rights to build relations with various countries," said Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of Russia, commenting on the visit of J.D. Vance, Vice President of the United States, to Baku and Yerevan, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Peskov noted that Russia maintains beneficial cooperation with both Armenia and Azerbaijan in almost every sphere. The Kremlin spokesperson added that Moscow intends to continue this cooperation: 'We have extensive bilateral relations with both Baku and Yerevan, covering virtually every possible area. This includes mutually beneficial trade and economic cooperation, mutual investment, and cultural ties.'
