A project of the Horadiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Agband section of the Zangazur transport corridor on the Azerbaijani side, which provides access to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is being prepared and its construction is being carried out in parallel, said Deputy Chief of the Main Department for Operation and Maintenance of the Azerbaijan Automobile Roads State Agency Hidayat Rustamov in a briefing dedicated to “the work implemented during 6 months of 2021 and the tasks ahead”, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, the highway is expected to be completed in 2024.

Note that the length of this road will be 123,8 km, and the road will consist of 4-6 movement lanes.
