PM Ali Asadov Highlights Impact of Baku-Hosted Meeting on Turkic States Cooperation

Baku: The meeting held in the city of Bishkek last September was instrumental in reinforcing the institutional framework of multilateral cooperation and enhancing collaboration among the member states. Today's Baku-hosted meeting contributes to maintaining the positive momentum and business ties established during the first meeting, said Ali Asadov, Azerbaijani Prime Minister, as he addressed the meeting of the Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijani Prime Minister expressed his belief that the meeting would significantly advance the friendship, brotherhood, and strategic partnership between the member countries, further expanding bilateral cooperation. This gathering is seen as a continuation of efforts initiated in Bishkek to strengthen ties among the Turkic states.

Additionally, the Azerbaijani Premier took the opportunity to congratulate the Turkish national team on their remarkable achievement of qualifying for the FIFA World Cup for the first time in 24 years following their victory over Kosovo on March 31.
