Baku: Kazakhstan will support Azerbaijan in the development of the Middle Corridor, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov announced during a meeting of the prime ministers of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) held in Baku.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bektenov mentioned plans for an intergovernmental agreement with Azerbaijan to be signed this year. This agreement aims to enhance the institutional status of the Middle Corridor, which is a significant initiative for regional connectivity.
The prime minister highlighted the importance of opening the Trump route and its integration into the Middle Corridor. He noted that this integration is a crucial step for improving the corridor's functioning and connectivity.
Bektenov also revealed that several Kazakh companies are keen to participate in projects focused on the construction and modernization of railway infrastructure, which are integral to the development of the Middle Corridor.
