According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Seguro emphasized the importance of Azerbaijan's National Day to its citizens and friends worldwide. He reiterated Portugal's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation between the two nations. Seguro also expressed his anticipation that the opening of the Portuguese Embassy in Baku and the Azerbaijani Embassy in Lisbon would further enhance these relations.
