Baku:Command and staff training was conducted as part of the 'Power of Unity - 2026' joint military exercise, involving military personnel from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan, as reported by Azerbaijan's Ministry of Defense.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the exercise aimed to improve the capabilities of the participating units, focusing on commanders' decision-making and unit management skills. Headquarters were established in designated areas with measures taken for camouflage and organizing activities.

The training involved commanders performing tasks related to assessing and analyzing evolving situations and making decisions at various locations, including the 'Gizilgaya' training center in the Khojavend district, the 'Garabaghlar' training center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the 'Boyuk-Zira' training area in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea.

Attention was particularly given to enhancing the effectiveness of interoperability among the military personnel of the participating countries in the joint execution of their assigned tasks.
