BAKU – In a recent statement, Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev highlighted a new light industry enterprise to be established in Khankandi, signifying the deep-rooted friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, according to APA.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev discussed the project with Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, emphasizing its symbolic importance. “This new enterprise in Khankandi is not just an economic project; it is a testament to the brotherhood and friendship between our nations,” Aliyev stated. He recalled Uzbekistan’s support during the Second Karabakh War and its prompt response in aiding Azerbaijan’s efforts to rebuild the liberated territories. This initiative is expected to strengthen the economic and diplomatic ties between the two nations further.
