TASHKENT – The first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan High Intergovernmental Council took place today in Tashkent, marking a significant step in bilateral relations. The meeting was attended by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two nations across various sectors.
