Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan High Intergovernmental Council Holds Inaugural Meeting in Tashkent


TASHKENT – The first meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan High Intergovernmental Council took place today in Tashkent, marking a significant step in bilateral relations. The meeting was attended by Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the two nations across various sectors. The presence of both presidents underscored the high importance of the council in fostering closer ties and exploring new avenues for partnership between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.
