Baku: Azerbaijan supports the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said while receiving Mohammad Mustafa, Prime Minister of the State of Palestine, on July 16, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan stands by the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, with East Jerusalem designated as its capital. This statement underscores Azerbaijan's commitment to supporting Palestinian sovereignty on the global stage.
