Baku:President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, met with Kai-Fu Lee, CEO of China's 01.AI and Sinovation Ventures, and Filippo Malinverno from Italy's TEHA Group on September 24.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the executives expressed their gratitude for the meeting and confirmed their participation in the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum in Baku, an event under President Aliyev's patronage.

President Aliyev emphasized the strong relationships Azerbaijan maintains with both China and Italy, noting that businesspeople from these countries actively invest in Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, the approval of the 'Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025-2028' was discussed, along with Azerbaijan's favorable business climate for local and foreign investors.

The discussions also covered the practical applications of artificial intelligence in green energy, cybersecurity, education, and other sectors, exploring potential cooperation opportunities between Azerbaijan and the visiting companies.
