Mingachevir: President Ilham Aliyev highlighted the significant transformation of Azerbaijan’s energy system, stating that it has been virtually rebuilt from scratch over the past two decades. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the ‘8 November’ Power Plant in Mingachevir, he noted the city’s historical significance as an energy center and the crucial role played by its human capital in achieving current milestones.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev underscored the construction of new power plants across various regions of Azerbaijan as part of the country’s energy system overhaul. He also mentioned that reconstruction efforts have been undertaken in Mingachevir, further contributing to the development of the nation’s energy infrastructure.
