KALBAJAR — President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan ceremonially laid the foundation stone for a new residential complex in the city of Kalbajar on September 2, as part of a broader initiative to enhance the city's housing infrastructure.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Bashir Hajiyev, the President's Special Representative in the Kalbajar district, provided details about the project during the ceremony. The complex will be constructed on a 1.76-hectare site and is designed as part of a multifunctional zone specified in the city's master plan. It will feature eight residential buildings with varying heights of three to five floors, including 56 two-room, 56 three-room, and 48 four-room apartments, ultimately housing 160 families. The development plan also includes comprehensive facilities for employment and recreation, extensive landscaping, and greening efforts. Moreover, the complex will utilize green energy solutions for lighting the buildings and streets, aligning with sustainable development goals.
